But there was a contest where you could find a ceremonial sword in Vidaria, called the Vanquisher's Blade, which would automatically get you on the team roster. I found some clues about it while I was stationed out there but never found the thing. I'd love to have one as a keepsake. Aha! You know, these swords are a piece of history. The Vanquishers had had three awful seasons and fans were leaving, so they set up this competition. But filling out your roster via a treasure hunt led to an <i>impressively</i> bad year, the wost in the league's history, ending the team. And with only four other teams, the entire sport sort of fell apart. I caught some games as a kid. I wish I'd been an adult for this contest. It would have been fun, even on a terrible team!
