Gorgon Codex is operated by Lucent Enterprises Ltd. The site does not require user accounts and does not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information. We use third-party analytics services as described below. We do not sell personal data.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. This service uses cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and track page views, search queries, scroll depth, and outbound link clicks.

Google Analytics may collect approximate location (country/region), device type, browser, and operating system. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual visitors. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address for the sole purpose of sending periodic updates about the site. Emails are sent via Resend. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We do not share your email address with third parties.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default retention periods. Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. We do not maintain any separate user data stores.

Your Rights

If you are in the EU/EEA (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Since we only collect analytics and optional newsletter emails, most of this is handled by unsubscribing from the newsletter or using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will remove it.
