Quest Text
Unfortunately, my tests on these Frostbelch skins were inconclusive. There's nothing out of the ordinary with them. Fortunately for us, however, an animal expert was recently stationed near here. Seek out Pitre Ferrence, he should be somewhere south of this area. Ask him, nay, tell him that we'd like his assistance in this matter. Take the skins with you as well, he may need them.

What is that? Oh, Ferris needs assistance is it? Well, let me see the samples that you have, then. [Pitre takes the skins from you, but then quickly returns them.] On second thought, a genetic scan is quite unnecessary. The demons' plan is obvious. You see, frogs have permeable skin through which they absorb all manner of particulates. And if you look around this area, you are likely to see many ordinary animals overcome with demonic influence. If the passive presence of the demons has such an effect on these animals, I can only imagine the level of influence they could have on an animal that is designed to be influenced by its environment. Easy, deep influence, is the answer I would give to Ferris.
Objectives
- Speak with Pitre Ferrence
- Talk to Ferris Blueheart
Requirements
Completion
"Easy, deep influence"? Well, I suppose that makes sense, but it still doesn't tell the full story. The demons can influence the frogs easily, but to what end? Why do they want to influence them in the first place is the main question. I will stew on Pitre's words. That is all for now, thank you.
